Annastezhaa

Annastezhaa is a classically trained Harpist and violinist, and composer of over 20 years, based Primarily in Denver, LA and NYC, and always traveling to new states and countries to perform and record. She has privately studied with many notable teachers from The Juilliard school, Curtis Institue of Music, Eastman School of music, Colorado symphony, and Kansas Symphony, and mentored by grammy-award nominated harpist Brandee younger. She is a proud graduate of the Denver school of the arts. Now a freelancing artist, she is always searching for new opportunities to grow as a musician and artist through performance, improvisation, and composition. In recent years, Annastezhaa has performed with, recorded with and studied under the distinguished composers and musicians: Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Robert Glasper, Karriem Riggens, Derrick hodge, India.Arie, Brandy, Common, Isaiah Sharkey, Brandee younger, Keyon Harrold, Chakah Khan, Kamasi Washington, Wu Tang Clan, and Parris Flemming (Harry styles band). Annastezhaa has had multiple performances at renowned venues such as Red Rocks, Walt Disney concert hall and Carnegie Hall, and has participated in mainstream television appearances on major channels such as CNN, FOX, and NBC. Annastezhaa has appeared in and composed for various independent film scores, her favorite being “Alice” (2022) starring Keke Palmer. As a multi-instrumentalist at heart, her current musical passions beyond the harp (the main instrument) are singing, and playing traditional style on the Koto (a Japanese zither, or table harp). These studies are put to creative use as she is 1/4th of the coveted Denver-based quartet, Ramakhandra- as the harpist, vocalist, and kotoist, performing at all major venues in Denver and beyond.
