Danno Simpson

As the refurbished Country/Folk/Americana movement sweeps the continental forty-eight, Danno Simpson nestles himself perfectly amidst fans that are chasing stories, telling uniquely nuanced rich narratives himself. Being born in Texas, raised in Georgia and now based out of Colorado, Simpson is emerging as a young, evolving singer songwriter in touch with his roots –using them for direct inspiration along his tried and true path of actuation, keeping his sound progressive and forward thinking. Simpson is never fooled by the acts and individuals who aren’t willing to cut their teeth on the road and no stranger to picking himself up by his bootstraps when he has to, in fact he wouldn’t be here if he didn’t. Rising from the ashes of his own mistakes and beginning to write and produce when the world stood still during the Covid-19 Pandemic, Simpson sought greater meaning in the simple pleasures life grants us. You can listen to his interpretations and discoveries in his “EP” ‘Honest Work’ now and catch him on the road performing live music for guideline-abiding venues all across Colorado and nearby states that boast the Rocky Mountains.
